Retrieve Bitlocker Recovery Key

If you are unable to log into Windows, you may need a recovery key to use some Windows troubleshooting tools.

 Instructions

  1. Navigate to https://portal.manage.microsoft.com/devices and log in with your Imagine Learning email address

  2. Select the entry for your Windows computer

  3. Scroll down to Device encryption and click Get recovery key

  4. Select Show recovery key

  5. The Recovery Key will be displayed

If you have issues retrieving the recovery key, the Help Desk may be able to help you or use the slack channel #il-bluescreenissues.
