Expand the Shopify designs to enhance the enrollment process and decrease confusion

 Assumptions

  •

 Milestones

  • We need to be ready with designs for Guidance and engineering to batch as soon as possible.

  • We need to validate the designs with customers during Q4.

 Research and Background

  • Customer Feedback :

    • Customers signing up for a Monarch All Access Free Trial are confused by the price being shown.

    • From google analytics, we are seeing an increase in customer abandonment during the onboarding when they need to create a student.

    • From CSRs, the “assign for courses” step in the onboarding process is confusing because price is shown and they have to do a lot of scrolling to see the “assign for course” action.

    • The monthly churn rate for subscriptions is around 22%, we would like to decrease this rate by promoting the adoption of our yearly subscription.

Monarch PDPs

For customers that have yet to create an http://aop.com account, we want to:

  • Decrease their confusion related to the cost of a Monarch All Access Free trial.

  • Increase their adoptions of the Monarch Full Access yearly subscriptions

  • Showcase the value of the Monarch Full Access subscription by advertising their access to 100+ courses.

Imagine Learning Assumption

  • Changes would appear for customers that are logged into their http://AOP.com account or customers that need to create an http://AOP.com account

Course PDP Pages

As a parent assigning courses to their students, I don’t want to see pricing or subscription information on course PDP pages.

As a parent, I want to know if:

  • I have already assigned this course to my student?

  • Does my student have access to this course?

Imagine Learning Assumption:

 User interaction and design

Where in the user’s journey do they complete these steps?

  • New customers are shopping for online curriculum and want to start a free trial.

  • New users have finished the purchase of a Monarch Full Access Free Trial subscription (monthly or yearly. After purchase, they need to assign courses to their students.

  • Existing users are returning to http://aop.com to assign courses to their students.
