Switch to new Outlook for Windows

When you open the classic version of Outlook, you might see a message asking you to make the switch to try new Outlook. You may even have tried new Outlook in the past, but switched back to classic. If that's the case, we encourage you to give it another try, and even if you've never tried it, now is a great time!
Since August 2024, new Outlook is Generally Available to everyone. We're pleased to offer you the latest features, intelligent assisted capabilities, and a modern and simplified design. Instructions
If your version of classic Outlook shows it, select the Try the new Outlook toggle which is in the upper-right corner of your classic Outlook window.
Selecting the toggle will start the download of the new Outlook for Windows app to your device. This might take several minutes to complete. After the installation is complete, classic Outlook will close and the new Outlook for Windows will open, where you can sign in and choose to import your accounts and settings. You can switch back to classic Outlook any time.
